The GL1800 Gold Wing is Honda's flagship touring bike. The 2012-2017 versions used the older flat-six chassis with 1,832 cc engine, while the fully redesigned 2018-2021 generation (documented here by the 2018 US owner's manual) brought a double-wishbone front end, seven-speed DCT or six-speed manual and 7 percent smaller displacement at 1,833 cc. Service data for the new generation: 4.6 L of 10W-30 oil with the filter, 2.9 L of coolant, a shaft final drive with its own SAE 80 hypoid gear oil (140 cm3), NGK CR6HSB-9 plugs and a big GYZ20L 20 Ah battery for the luxury electronics. Owners should note the earlier 2012-2017 generation uses different body panels and suspension but similar fluid service logic; its dedicated manual should be consulted for exact figures.
