Yamaha V-Star 650 (XVS650) (2000-2009) — Maintenance Specs

The V-Star 650 (XVS650 DragStar in other markets) was Yamaha's mid-size air-cooled V-twin cruiser, offered in Custom, Classic and Silverado trims from 1998 to 2009 in the US - the 2007 Custom manual used here is the official Yamaha library source and its figures cover the whole run. It is a shaft-drive bike, so besides the 2.8 L engine oil with the filter there is a 0.19 L final gear case to service. The 649 cc twin uses a single DPR7EA-9 plug per cylinder torqued to 17.5 N·m, a 16 L tank and an H4-style 60/55 W headlight. Front and rear solo tire pressures are an equal 33 psi (225 kPa).
